Andrea Paterson - Associate

Andrea Paterson joined Beck, Redden and Secrest, L.L.P. in September of 2004. Prior to joining the firm, Andrea served as a law clerk to Justice Harriet O’Neill of the Texas Supreme Court.

REPRESENTATIVE CASES

  • Obtained over $1 million jury verdict as second chair lawyer for Texas electric cooperative in breach of contract and breach of warranty action involving a large piece of machinery.
  • Obtained defense verdict as second chair lawyer in a product liability action for major electronics company in a case involving allegations that the company’s product started a house fire.
  • Part of trial team that obtained defense verdict in a products liability action for major electronics company where product was accused of starting a house fire.
  • Represented major international engineering company as the plaintiff in a breach of contract action involving a large scale capital construction project which resulted in a favorable settlement.
