BRS Successfully Defends Tanner Companies, Inc.

Alistair Dawson and Nakia Davis recently obtained a summary judgment dismissing all claims against firm clients Tanner Companies, Inc., Tanner Companies Shared Services, L.L.C., Tanner Operations, L.L.C. Tanner Construction Company of Texas, Inc., and several employees and former employees from Judge Tony Lindsay of the 280th Judicial District Court of Harris County. The plaintiff had asserted claims against Defendants for misappropriation of and conspiracy to misappropriate trade secrets, unfair competition, breach of duty to maintain the confidentiality of trade secrets, tortious interference with business relations and prospective business relations, breach of fiduciary duty, and destruction of property and was seeking recovery of more than $2 million dollars in damages.
