David Gunn to be Inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers
March 4, 2009David Gunn’s integrity and excellence in appellate work will be deservingly recognized when he is inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers on March 27 at the spring meeting in Austin, Texas.
The Academy is a professional association of the most accomplished appellate lawyers in the nation, from both the private and public sectors, with nearly 300 members nationally. Mr. Gunn will be one of only 17 lawyers in Texas to receive this honor.
Membership is by invitation only, requiring nomination by a current member, followed by a thorough and confidential investigation of the candidate's merit and accomplishments. A candidate's practice must have been substantially focused on appellate practice for at least 15 years.
