Victory in Legal Malpractice Trial for International Law Firm
January 31, 2011On January 13, 2011, Murray Fogler and Tim Cleveland obtained a defense verdict for an international law firm in a legal malpractice trial before the Honorable Bill Burke in the 189th District Court in Houston. The plaintiff, the Insolvency Administrator for a German company, alleged that the Firm's client committed malpractice in a complex transaction that involved the acquisition of secured debt and the stock of a company in Texas. After a four day trial, the jury returned a complete defense verdict.
