Favorable Verdict In Breach-Of-Contract Dispute
March 24, 2011On March 24, 2011, Geoff Gannaway, Jeff Bentch and Connie Pfeiffer obtained a favorable verdict for their client, an importer of seasonal decorations, in a breach-of-contract dispute with a major retail chain. The Honorable Alexandra Smoots-Hogan of the 164th District Court in Houston presided over the trial. After a three-day trial, the jury returned a complete defense verdict for the Firm’s client, and, in addition, awarded damages to the Firm’s client after finding on the counter-claim that the retailer had breached three separate contracts.
