Decision Regarding Search Warrant for FLDS Case Affirmed
August 26, 2011The validity of the 2008 search of the YFZ Ranch in West Texas that led to investigations and prosecutions of several ranch residents, including Warren Jeffs, was affirmed today by the Third Court of Appeals in Austin. Eric J.R. Nichols argued the case before the Third Court earlier this year, and he and Fields Alexander recently represented the State in the prosecution of Warren Jeffs. Opinion attached.
