William Peterson Selected as a 2011 Temple Bar Scholar

September 28, 2011

William Peterson has been selected as a 2011 Temple Bar Scholar. Each year, the American Inns of Court selects four outstanding young U.S. lawyers to participate in a one-month program in London beginning October 1. The program is designed to introduce lawyers to the English legal system. The three principal criteria for selection include high academic achievement in law school; experience as a law clerk for a judge or justice of a leading appellate court, including the Supreme Court of the United States; and a demonstrated interest in international law issues.

Will recently completed a judicial clerkship for Justice Clarence Thomas of the Supreme Court of the United States. Prior to his judicial clerkship, Will was an associate with Beck, Redden & Secrest and will return to the firm upon the completion of the Temple Bar Scholars program.
